Commercial Solar Power

Wauchope Solar has provided grid-connected solar PV solutions to over 20 commercial customers in Wauchope and Port Macquarie. These installations range in size from 10 Kilowatts to 99 Kilowatts with a total installed capacity of several megawatts.

Prior to installation we will analyse a recent electricity bill and conduct a site inspection. For larger installs we can also undertake a cost-benefit analysis. We offer the federal government rebate at market rates as a point-of-sale discount. For our commercial customers we also offer a two-year complimentary monitoring service to ensure the system is performing as expected. To provide this service a reliable internet connection to the inverter must be maintained.

Fronius inverters:

IGA Sovereign Hills

Commissioned December 2019. This system uses 260 x RECNP 380watt panels and a 10° commercial mounting system designed by German engineering firm Schletter. Three Fronius Eco 27 kilowatt three-phase inverters are connected to the IGA Wi-Fi network for monitoring. This system will offset daily power consumption by approximately 400 kilowatt hours per day and avoid approximately 120 tons of CO2 emissions per annum.

IGA Wauchope

Commissioned March 2015. This system uses 384 x RECPE 260 watt panels and a 10° commercial mounting system designed in Australia and manufactured in Coffs Harbour. Five Fronius 20 kilowatt three-phase inverters are connected to the IGA Wi-Fi network for monitoring. This system will offset daily power consumption by approximately 500 kilowatt hours per day and avoid approximately 140 tons of CO2 emissions per annum.

SMA inverters:

The Observatory Resort

Commissioned September 2013. This system uses 216x RECPE 260 watt panels. Three Sunny Tripower 20 kilowatt three-phase inverters are connected to the Resort’s Wi-Fi network for monitoring. This system will offset daily power consumption by approximately 300 kilowatt hours per day and avoid approximately 71 tons of CO2 emissions per annum.

Port Macquarie Eye Centre

Commissioned June 2013. The system uses 35 x RECTP 280 watt panels and 75 x RECPE 250 watt panels. Two Sunny Tripower three-phase inverters (17 kilowatt and 10 kilowatt) are connected to the Centre’s Wi-Fi network for monitoring. This system will offset daily power consumption by approximately 135 kilowatt hours per day and avoid approximately 30 tons of CO2 emissions per annum.

Port Macquarie Golf Club

Commissioned August This system uses 265 x RECPE 260 watt panels. Four Sunny Tripower 17 kilowatt three-phase inverters are connected to the Club’s Wi-Fi network for monitoring. This system will offset daily power consumption by approximately 340 kilowatt hours per day and avoid approximately 89 tons of CO2 emissions per annum.

Port Macquarie Library

Commissioned in July 2012. This system uses 404 x RECPE 245 watt panels. Six Sunny Tripower17 kilowatt three-phase inverters are connected to the Library’s Wi-Fi network for monitoring. This system will offset daily power consumption by approximately 510 kilowatt hours per day and avoid approximately 141 tons of CO2 emissions per annum.

May 2013 – the Hon. Rob Oakeshott (then Federal Member for Lyne) along with Port – Macquarie Hastings Councillor Justin Levido and special guests attending an open day at the Port Macquare Library to celebrate the decision of Port Macquarie-Hastings Council to go solar.
